What are blue light lenses?

Your eyes are constantly exposed to blue light, mainly through the sunlight but also some artificial sources like comptuers, smartphones, LED lights and energy-efficient light bulbs. Different types of blue light include blue-violet light* which emits from the sun, as well as blue-turquoise light and LED blue light that emit from electronic devices.

How do blue light glasses work?

The lenses in blue-violet light glasses may have a subtle tint, which helps to counterbalance and filter blue-violet light. They filter blue-violet light just like sunglasses filter UV rays.
